Meet Dr. Dessouki
Dr. Dessouki is a distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon licensed to practice in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Dessouki completed his undergraduate degree in Cell Biology and his MD degree at the University of Western Ontario. Following this, he completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the University of Toronto, where he also pursued sub-specialty training through three fellowships at St. Michael’s Hospital, focusing on traumatology and upper and lower limb reconstruction.

Dr. Dessouki has an extremely busy clinical practice with a specific focus on complex trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, upper and lower limb joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, and sports medicine. He is the past Section Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Lakeridge Health System and serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University. Additionally, he is a Clinical Associate at Altum Health at Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network, where he continues to contribute to the advancement of orthopaedic medicine.
